Dear Friends and Family-
I keep telling everyone that I'm going to be keeping a blog when I enter Peace Corps, so I thought I should probably get one set up before I leave. I will do my best to keep it updated, and hopefully incorporate some photos at some point, so hopefully I'll keep you entertained, at least once in a while, with my newest travel adventures and life experiences. There is less than a month now until I leave my dear Iowa City behind. I just called Sato Travel to book my flight to Washington, DC, on February 5th. I'll be there for 2 days, then we'll head down to El Salvador for 10 weeks of training.
Right now, I'm working at the Physics library. Tomorrow is my last day, then I will probably be working a bit at the Daily Iowan again in between packing, storing, or disposing of my life as it stands here. It's pretty crazy for me to think about that I am actually doing this, but super exciting at the same time. I know there will be tough times, but I'm confident that I'll find a way to get through them, so hopefully you guys will send me mail and stuff to keep me cheerful! I promise I'll write back! Hahah.
